About Us

Let’s keep the world running

kaizenOps.io is a small incubation based in Silicon Valley. Our mission is to improve the lives of site reliability engineers by providing actionable insights during production incidents – without requiring significant changes to existing environments. Let’s fix things quick and get back to your life, sleep, moments, dates, weddings, or soccer games.

Mark Addleman is co-founder of kaizenOps.io. He has been in the Site Reliability game since 2000 when he joined an APM startup. Since then he has developed a passion for solving production problems and delivering high quality experience to customers. Known for distilling complex problems into their essence through hacking and coffee, his inventions around uncovering JVM visibility led to APM as we know it today. When not leading the team and writing Clojure code, he enjoys shows with an IMDB rating higher than 8 and not hurting his back.

Nate Isley

Nate Isley

Co-Founder of KaizenOps.io

Nate Isley after leading APM development, implementing monitoring deploys, and selling monitoring tools, Nate was always dismayed to return to customers that stopped actively using the tools because they were ‘too hard’. He co-founded kaizenOps with a vision for monitoring tools with no UIs; where the tools instead provide actionable results to reduce the stress and anxiety of supporting the digital storefront. When not analyzing go to market strategies or stuck deploying CloudFormation lambdas, he enjoys trying his hand at the culinary arts or board games with his offspring.
